TeleWorship Concept

TeleWorship is a hosted communications service that makes your church’s worship services available and easily accessible to anyone in the world using nothing more than ordinary telephones or cell phones.

To participate, a listener does not have to have any special equipment, training or access to a computer and the Internet; only a working telephone.  TeleWorship makes it easy and convenient for anyone who cannot physically attended your church to participate in live and real-time virtual worship concurrently with that portion of your congregation that is physically present in your sanctuary.

Those wanting to listen to your worship services only have to dial TeleWorship’s telephone number from any telephone anywhere in the world and enter an access code. Your dial-in listeners are then placed into a conference call using TeleWorship’s carrier-grade conference bridge where they hear your worship services at the same time as those physically present in your church.  Any number of listeners can participate simultaneously and your entire congregation worships together, both those physically present along with those virtually present.

TeleWorship functions like over-the-air radio broadcasting but without any expensive and geographically-limited air time to buy. Instead, we use the public telephone network to distribute your worship services to any part of the world where people want to listen in.

Your church doesn’t have to buy or maintain any specialized equipment or hire special staff to operate the service.  TeleWorship does it all for you so you can focus on your ministry and not the technology.

Your church can begin using TeleWorship without risk or any type of long-term commitment.   You pay for only the services you actually consume on a minute-of-use basis and we will bill your church at the end of each month for only your actual consumption.

Ideal for Your Shut-Ins

TeleWorship is an ideal ministry for your home-bound, shut-ins and anyone else who physically cannot attend worship.  Using TeleWorship, you can provide the comfort of regular and sustained participation in worship not only to those too infirm to attend but also to their loved ones and family members who are caring for them.  Whether during a short-term hospital stay, a long-term convalescence or a permanent condition, virtual worship that is concurrent with your physically-present congregation can provide an all-important spiritual link among your church and its otherwise absent members.

Many Other Uses Too

The use of TeleWorship isn’t constrained to just applications with your shut-ins.  You can also use it for:

  • People who are out of town traveling on business or vacation
  • Young people away at college or on military service
  • Maintaining a link with congregants who have moved away but still wish to worship with you
  • Outreach for new prospects

More Uses than Only Worship

The TeleWorship platform isn’t limited to only one-way broadcast-type applications either.  It can also be used in other applications for highly-interactive two-way teleconferences such as:

  • Virtual Sunday School classes
  • Virtual Bible study
  • Virtual prayer groups
  • Virtual small group ministries that can meet via the telephone
  • Virtual meetings for church committees, business meetings or Board meetings

TeleWorship can be used in any situation to include people in your activities who otherwise wouldn’t be able to participate simply because something prevents their physical attendance.

More than Just Audio

In addition to audio content, TeleWorship can also provide Web conferencing where your users can see pictures, graphics and PowerPoint slides in addition to participating in an audio conference call.

To use TeleWorship’s Web conferencing capabilities your remote participants need only a personal computer and an Internet connection. There is no special software to download and install; everything is presented within a standard Web browser. You only have to direct your participants to TeleWorship’s Web Conferencing URL where they enter your access code.  All of your users are then placed into a virtual meeting room where all of your users see the same graphics, documents, PowerPoint slides and even the desktop applications that you are presenting from your computer.

Audio is presented via TeleWorship’s Audio Conference Bridge just as in an audio conference call. Your graphic images and slides are presented live in real time and synchronized with your voice just as if all of your geographically-distributed remote participants were sitting in the same room together.  Web conferencing adds a powerful dimension to your event or meeting.

Instant Replay is Available

You can record an audio or Web conference for replaying to people who couldn’t attended your event at the appointed time. Audio conferences are recorded in WAV files and Web conferences are recorded in Flash files. Both recorded files can be downloaded or sent to you on CD-ROM.

Recorded audio conferences are also saved on our conference bridge so people can dial-in, enter the access code for the recorded event and listen to the replay from their telephones.
